[VIDEO] Why Acupuncturists use VAS to Supplement TCM Pulse Diagnosis — from Discussions with Dr. Bahr

Dr. Bahr gives an introduction into the difference between Vascular Autonomic Signal (VAS) pulse palpation and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) pulse palpation to offer insight into why acupuncturists benefit from supplementing their diagnosis with the use of a patient's autonomic nervous system response to stimuli/change — a binary response felt in the radial pulse (e.g. experienced as a positive or negative response) to help guide both assessment AND treatment. See video below.

CIAM is presenting a Master Methods class featuring Dr. Bahr. This event in Toronto, May 23-24, 2019, is open to everyone who wants to take advantage of the rare opportunity to learn from and meet Dr. Bahr (a former student, protege and close colleague of Dr. Paul Nogier). On May 22, CIAM is offering an introduction and hands-on training workshop into use of the VAS.
